I love this case I bought it after my Ipod dropped once. I like this better than the rubber cases other people use because it has more of a professional feel, and the leather material is great. It's sleek, slender, and feels right in your hand. This is a good case get it.

I agree with a lot of people that say the ipod seems to die faster when in this case. It seems like the batteries should have been on the flap instead of right against the ipod. This and the opening to push the volume button is a little akward. Scratched the leather with a fingernail and left a mark. Also have to remove ipod to play some games. 3 out of 5 for design and durability. Still it protechs my ipod well and I like having a belt clip. Fits my ipod with a hard plastic back cover. Still snug after I insert remove several times a day. So a few moderate flaws. But I would still recommend. Just a little less durable than phone leather cases.

This is an excellent case for the money. Agree with the earlier review that a hole is needed in the case to allow the ambient light sensor to work properly. However, there is a good reason why it's not there: the sensor location moved between the 2nd generation and 3rd generation iPod touches (I have both, and compared the sensor location carefully before making a hole in the case for each specific iPod). This means the manufacturer would have to make cases for specific models OR provide a case with multiple holes (not aesthetically pleasing).
A hole can be made easily using a sharp punch of the proper diameter (often used for leather work or woodworking). Sensor now works perfectly on both units. Be sure to verify the EXACT location of the sensor on your iTouch and transfer it to the case prior to making the hole.
The case WILL work with sensor blocked, but backlighting will be inadequate with strong ambient light.

This case is just what I was looking for. The iPod fits perfectly & securely. The magnetic closure is great for accessing the screen - easier to use than a snap closure. The belt clip seems sturdy & the case, overall, seems to be good quality & well-made. It secures & protects while leaving all controls accessible without being bulky. I highly recommend this case.
